about us

We build designer socks and laces for iconic styles from iconic brands. It might sound a little crazy but we think we're starting something new. We are creating the Aftermarket for Footwear. Aftermarket for automotive has been around forever. Aftermarket for cell phones, well almost as long as there has been cell phones. So why not aftermarket products to provide a design canvas and self-expression for the footwear enthusiast? That is what we're up to.

Our design focus is on the footwear – the shoes everybody owns and the premium and hard-to-find styles worth searching for in the market.

We work for the sneaker enthusiast, and for them it’s all about the details. Our socks are fitted, sizes 9-13. They are offered in 3 different styles; running booty, max cushion and skate performance and also three specific heights; low, mid and high. Our laces deliver entirely new and different looks. They are built for low, mid and high top shoes and come in three different lengths; 40 inches, 54 inches and 65 inches. It is time for a dedicated brand to come along and shake things up and have some fun doing it.

We are a handful of former Nike and AND1 marketing and designer-types who love kicks and want to build a brand that serves this market and puts us in the middle of all of the action.

We'll launch in approximately 50 doors. Key sneaker boutiques: Ubiq (Phila), Concepts (Bos), Phli (Chi). Strong regional partners who are important in neighborhoods where trends really start; Expressions (Bos), Shoe Palace (Cal) and DownTown Locker Room (Mid-Atlantic).

It all gets started October 2010. Limited distribution. Limited products. At the initial drop we’re offering 5 styles of socks and 5 styles of laces. Then starting two weeks later, we offer a new style of sock and lace every other week. This “formula” mirrors the quick strike release technique utilized by the footwear brands and these same retailers carrying tunr products. Our “Quick Strike” products will marry with many of the limited releases that will launch during the season.

We're showing the line to designers and celebs as we speak. The only prerequisite; they need to be sneakerheads. Legitimate fans of the culture. Likely we’ll get to do something soon with Mos Def. He is a big fan. Much more to tell you on this subject very soon. Stay tuned.
